Job summary

Castleton Health Care Center in Indianapolis seeks a Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical operations during shifts and ensure high-quality resident care across the facility.

The successful candidate will mentor nursing staff, oversee daily operations, administer medications per orders, collaborate with physicians and families, manage staffing to reduce overtime, and lead shift meetings for the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state (required).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 2+ years of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations.
• Deliver and supervise high-quality resident care with a focus on positive clinical outcomes.
• Act as a clinical resource and leader for nursing staff.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Mentor, coach, and support nursing team members.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to care standards.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and families.
• Help manage staffing efficiently to reduce overtime and agency usage.
• Lead shift meetings and provide updates to the Director of Nursing.
