Job summary

The HealthCare Connection Inc. in Ohio is seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Supervisor to lead and develop a diverse clinical team, including Medical Assistants, LPNs, RNs, and support staff.

This hands-on role combines clinical leadership with direct patient care to sustain high-quality, patient-centered service. You will supervise day-to-day operations, coordinate staffing, and align practice with PCMH standards while partnering with providers and leadership to enhance workflows and

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in state of Ohio.
• Associate's degree in nursing.
• Five (5) years of clinical experience, two (2) years of which must be in a leadership capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• Experience in FQHC, CHC, or other Primary Care setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop clinical staff through coaching, feedback, training, competency assessment, and ongoing performance support.
• Maintain a visible, hands-on presence in clinical areas, reinforcing best practices and identifying improvements.
• Coordinate clinical staffing, schedules, and daily assignments to ensure coverage and continuity of care.
• Serve as a trusted clinical resource for staff and providers on nursing practice, triage, and clinical concerns.
• Promote safe, consistent practice through protocols, infection prevention, documentation, and scope-of-practice guidelines.
• Partner with providers and leaders to strengthen workflows, communication, and patient safety.
• Support orientation, onboarding, continuing education, and competency development for staff.
