Job summary

Ventura Services Florida is seeking a qualified Nurse Supervisor to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise Nursing Assistants in daily activities in accordance with state and federal regulations. You will ensure policy compliance, document care, and coordinate with physicians to deliver high quality resident care.

The role requires active LPN/RN licensure, postsecondary education, reliable attendance, and willingness to work weekends or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid LPN/RN license in the state employed.
• Completion of postsecondary education and ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Must be able to maintain regular attendance as required.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime as required.
• Must meet local health regulations and pass postemployment exam if required.
• Related nursing experience to accomplish the position.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing functions of Nursing Assistants.
• Ensure compliance with center policies and Nursing Service procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Complete required records and documentation.
• Coordinate with residents' physicians and plan care.
• Attend center inservice programs and participate in evaluations.
