Job summary

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in the long-term care center.
• Ensure nursing personnel comply with center policies and procedures.
• Supervise staff within scope of practice and report on shift activities.
• Document care and resident responses in the EHR.
• Transcribe physician orders and ensure narcotics handling per policy.
• Coordinate with resident services and participate in center surveys.
• Assist in discharge planning; admit, transfer, and discharge residents.
• Maintain infection control and safety; file incident reports as needed.
