Job summary

Antelope Valley Care Center is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee daily nursing activities on each shift. The role requires supervision of LVN/LPNs, CNAs, and other clinical staff, with emphasis on timely rounds, care coordination, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN with at least two years of supervisory experience in a long-term care setting and demonstrates strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BSN required and active nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in long-term care.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.
• Experience with PCC EHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Coordinate and participate in resident care and IV administration.
• Supervise LVN/LPNs, treatment nurses and CNAs with prompt response to calls.
• Make rounds, provide reports, and perform skilled care assessments.
• Participate in staff training and orientation.
• Maintain quality assurance and regulatory compliance in the nursing department.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, and residents’ families regarding care.
• Assist with admission preparation and emergency responses.
