Job summary

Castle Hills is seeking a registered nurse to supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the tour of duty in a long-term care facility. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and coordinate with DON/ADON as applicable.

You will participate in policy development, ensure current reference materials, and maintain a high standard of resident care through supervision of staff and adherence to Nursing Service Procedures Manual.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Assist in directing day-to-day functions of the nursing services department.
• Develop, maintain and update policies and procedures for the nursing service department.
