Responsibilities

Verifies daily staffing and redistribution.
Collaborates with charge nurses to exchange resident-care information.
Makes rounds to assess resident condition, prioritizing critically ill residents.
Ensures that individual care plans are followed for each resident.
Performs medication passes and direct resident care as needed.
Participates in care committees and staff training sessions.
Responds to emergencies during shift and maintains safety protocols.
Maintains a secure, sanitary environment for residents and staff.
Monitors meal service and nutrition adequacy on units and dining areas.
Contributes to Quality Improvement and resident-rights initiatives.
Performs other duties as requested.
