Qualifications

• RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS to be obtained within one year of starting.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of eligibility.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience (within last five years).
• Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse) with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or unit.
• Monitor and manage staff; provide on-the-spot feedback and annual evaluations; conduct performance counseling and discipline.
• Provide patient care as needed and build relationships to support recovery across physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Celebrate patient victories and outcomes along the way.
