Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing teams in inpatient rehabilitation, ensuring high quality care and smooth program implementation.

You will serve as liaison between administration and staff, supervise care on assigned shifts, coach performance, and support patient recovery. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered service within a nationwide leader.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS/ACLS certifications to be obtained within 12 months.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within 12 months.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on‑the‑spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling and discipline.
• Assume patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
