The role emphasizes staff leadership, patient advocacy, and collaboration with administration to optimize outcomes. Thresholds include RN licensure, BLS, and nursing leadership experience in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required or preferred.
• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 1 year of start.
• CRRN certification within 1 year of eligibility.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Previous leadership role (charge nurse/lead) with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts/unit.
• Monitor and manage staff; provide feedback, evaluations, and discipline as needed.
• Provide patient-centered care and build relationships focusing on recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

RN licensure

BLS certification

ACLS certification (within 1 year)
