Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing care within our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will oversee care delivery, coordinate with administration and staff, and guide client-focused procedures to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, program development, and hands-on patient care to support successful rehabilitation journeys and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS to be obtained within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse) with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts/unit.
• Monitor and manage staff; provide on-the-spot feedback and conduct annual evaluations.
• Assume patient care as needed and build relationships to support recovery.
