Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing teams on an inpatient rehabilitation unit. You will oversee care delivery, implement policies, and act as liaison between administration and staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and patient-focused care with opportunities to impact rehabilitation journeys across our community.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS with ACLS to be obtained within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience (within last 5 years).
• Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse) with accountability for results.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serving as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervising nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or unit.
• Monitoring and managing staff, providing feedback, evaluations, and discipline.
• Assuming patient care as needed and building relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories and milestones along the way.
