Job summary

Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing care and care programs on a designated unit. You will supervise staff, coordinate treatment plans, and ensure high-quality, compassionate patient care with a team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications to be obtained within one year of starting.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Previous leadership role with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including feedback, evaluations, and performance counseling.
• Assume patient care as needed and build relationships with patients for their recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
