Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing care within our rehabilitation team. You will oversee patient care programs, collaborate with administration and nursing leadership, and supervise care delivery during shifts to ensure quality outcomes.

Role requires active RN licensure, BLS/ACLS within a year, and prior inpatient hospital or leadership experience. We offer comprehensive benefits starting on day one and a supportive, team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS within one year of start date.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Previous leadership role with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of patient care programs, policies and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment and services during shifts or units.
• Monitor staff, provide on-the-spot feedback, evaluations and discipline as needed.
• Provide patient care when required and build relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
