Job summary

Encompass Health invites you to join our inpatient rehabilitation team as a Nurse Supervisor, guiding care and coordinating clinical programs that support patient recovery.

As a leader on the unit, you’ll supervise staff, implement procedures, and collaborate with administration to deliver compassionate, high-quality rehab services across shifts. BLS/ACLS within a year, RN licensure, and a track record in hospital leadership are desired.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS required within 1 year of starting.
• CRRN certification within 1 year of meeting eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience (last five years).
• Leadership experience such as charge nurse or lead role with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including feedback, evaluations, and performance counseling.
• Engage with patients to understand physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and foster a supportive team environment.
