Responsibilities

• Directs the work of nursing staff and performs evaluations.
• Audits procedures and ensures infection control measures.
• Direct resident care, coordinate with providers and families.
• Transcribes orders and assists with rounds; informs residents and physicians of changes.
• Monitors incident reports and safety programs; follows up as needed.
• Schedules staff and coordinates care across units; assists with discharge planning.
• Maintains narcotics records and coordinates with pharmacy.
