Job summary

clearway is seeking a Lead Registered Nurse to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating nursing services. The role includes updating policies and procedures related to nursing services and ensuring high-quality care across the facility.

The successful candidate will mentor staff, maintain documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate influenza vaccinations, and participate in safety and quality programs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in nursing from an accredited college.
• Three years' RN experience with at least one year in an administrative nursing role or equivalent.
• Current RN license in the state or a compact eligible state; proof required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Infection Preventionist certification.
• Strong written and oral communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to establish working relationships with doctors and staff.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work under stress.
• Ability to supervise and oversee nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continual delivery of high-quality nursing care.
• Adopt and implement innovative nursing practices to improve the facility.
• Mentor/train nursing staff.
• Maintain documentation of all facility reporting and surgical logs.
• Coordinate annual influenza vaccinations.
• Follows safety and infection control procedures and regulatory compliance.
