Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks an Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise licensed and unlicensed staff, and provide direct patient care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. The role includes rounds, documentation, and participation in performance improvement activities.

Ideal candidates hold a Virginia RN license in good standing, with 2+ years in medical-surgical care and proven clinical and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
• Two years of medical-surgical experience as a RN, preferred.
• Demonstrates excellent clinical, customer service and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the delivery of patient care.
• Makes rounds to observe and assess patients daily and reports changes to the team.
• Completes required documentation and ensures timely nursing records.
• Participates in clinical rounds with medical providers and follows physician orders.
• Provides direct patient care including medication administration and wound care.
• Assists in admission, discharge and transfer of patients.
