Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a healthcare manager to formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals as needed. The role includes reviewing health histories, status reports, and ordering appropriate diagnostic studies to ensure compliant patient care.

Responsibilities include staff analysis for front and back office, performing comprehensive physician examinations, and planning therapeutic programs within established policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with preference for master's degree in related field.
• ACLS certification required.
• 5-7 years of progressive healthcare management experience, preferably in a medical practice or urgent care setting.

Responsibilities

• Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals of patients to appropriate healthcare.
• Perform completed, detailed health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical and nursing status reports, and order radiological and diagnostic studies appropriate for patient condition.
• Analyze and staff front office and back office staff to meet needs of healthcare professionals and patients efficiently and courteously.
• Perform comprehensive physician examinations and assessments.
• Plan and initiate a therapeutic program within established protocols and institutional policies.
• Provide instructions and guidance regarding healthcare and healthcare promotion to patients, families and significant others.
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
