Genesiscareers is seeking an RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality nursing care within a long-term care setting. You will lead nursing units on your shift, ensuring compliance with policies, standards of care, and regulatory requirements.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with other departments, and help recruit and orient new hires to maintain safe, 24/7 coverage while controlling overtime and agency usage.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsabilités

• Support the Director of Nursing with delivering efficient and effective nursing care.
• Lead clinical operations on assigned shift, ensuring policy compliance with standards and regulations.
• Mentor staff and coordinate care delivery with other departments.
• Collaborate with Nursing leadership to maintain adequate staffing and 24/7 coverage while limiting overtime and agency usage.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.
