Health & Human Services is seeking a Nurse Supervisor I (S) at Black Mountain Neuro‑Medical Treatment Center in North Carolina. The role oversees unit staff, provides direct nursing care, and ensures high-quality resident care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Experience with staff management and nurse supervision is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Carry the Nurse Supervisor phone to document staff call outs and adjust staffing daily based on resident care needs.
• Provide direct hands-on nursing services (assessments, care plans, medication administration, CPR, etc.).
• Manage personnel processes including evaluations, check-ins, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the NUM.
• Create and maintain unit staffing schedules and monitor reassignments as warranted.
• Investigate incidents and quality of care issues according to policy; conduct unit rounds to assess care quality.
