Job summary

North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) through the O’Berry Neuro-Medical Treatment Center seeks a Nurse Supervisor I (S) to coordinate and supervise resident care and certified nursing assistants on the assigned shift. You will help ensure safe, effective unit operation and participate in staff training.

Under direct supervision of Nurse Supervisor II, you will make clinical decisions for the unit and complete training such as NCI, CPR, Body Mechanics, and lifting.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Ability to supervise healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise resident care and CNAs on the assigned shift.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to determine the proper course of action for the unit.
• Complete Staff Development trainings (NCI, CPR, Body Mechanics and lifting).
