Job summary

North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) — O’Berry Neuro-Medical Treatment Center in Wayne County — seeks a Nurse Supervisor I to coordinate and supervise resident care and CNAs on the shift. Under Nurse Supervisor II, you will help determine actions to keep the unit operating at its best.

You will complete required trainings such as NCI and CPR. The role is mandatory during adverse weather and eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus contingent on budget approval.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
• Two years of nursing experience preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise resident care and certified nursing assistants on assigned shift.
• Make decisions in collaboration with the Nurse Manager to optimize unit function.
• Complete required staff development training including NCI, CPR, Body Mechanics and lifting.
