Job summary

South Dakota Urban Indian Health, Inc. seeks a Nurse Supervisor for the Sioux Falls clinic to provide direct patient care when needed and to supervise nursing and lab staff.

The role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient care within scope of practice, aligned with SDUIH's mission and cultural guidelines. You will coordinate schedules, manage leave, and collaborate with providers to keep daily operations smooth, while upholding HIPAA, OSHA, and GPRA requirements as part of a patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN with current SD boards license.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory/admin experience in clinical settings.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and patient privacy requirements.
• Ability to coordinate nursing and lab staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out orders and support medical providers during procedures.
• Monitor exam rooms, maintain sanitation, and report equipment issues.
• Maintain medication inventory and ensure proper handling.
• Prepare and transmit patient records and maintain EHR entries.
• Complete GPRA/UDS reporting and quality assurance tasks.
• Coordinate schedules, leaves, and clinic workflow with staff.
