Description

The Joseph \"Eddie\" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

We are currently seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to work in our nursing department as a Nurse Shift Program Supervisor. This position will supervise all nursing services and personnel of a specific unit. have an active, unrestricted or probated status as a Registered Nurse on the KBN licensure verification.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing services for an assigned unit
• Determines the level of nursing care to ensure resident care needs
• Documents employee evaluations, develops work assignments, monitors staffing levels and delegates responsibilities to other levels of nursing staff
• Supervises professional and ancillary employees in the administration of efficient nursing care
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
