True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) in Fair Lawn, NJ for a part-time 20-hour/week role at a premier home health agency. You will provide direct nursing care, implement prescribed treatments, and assess client needs in home or assisted living settings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document clients’ biophysical, psychosocial, and educational needs; deliver preventative, supportive, and restorative care.
• Administer and document prescribed medications and perform clinical treatments.
• Coordinate scheduling for clients’ multidisciplinary appointments and therapies; maintain productivity.
• Interpret health status implications and report changes to Director of Nursing and physician.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and HIPAA regulations; ensure safe environment.
• Maintain complete and timely client records and timecards; participate in quality improvement.
• Reports to Director of Nursing.

Nurse Supervisor

A premier home health agency is seeking a dedicated, clinical-minded Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join their team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care, implement prescribed medical treatments, and assess client needs within a home or assisted living environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN looking for a impactful part-time leadership position that balances direct clinical care with care coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and document clients’ biophysical, psychosocial, and educational needs. Deliver preventative, supportive, and restorative care in accordance with established standards of practice.
• Competently administer and document prescribed medications and perform all clinical treatments per the Physician’s Plan of Care.
• Coordinate scheduling for clients’ multidisciplinary appointments and therapies. Effectively manage time to maintain a consistent level of productivity
• nterpret health status implications for clients and their families. Promptly report any significant changes in a client’s condition to the Director of Nursing and the attending physician
• Strictly adhere to standard precautions, aseptic techniques, infection control guidelines, and HIPAA regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients, families, and staff
• Maintain complete and timely client records and timecards. Demonstrate sound clinical judgment, a professional demeanor, and active participation in quality improvement activities
• Reports to Director of Nursing

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a related health field from an accredited institution, alongside at least 2 years of professional RN experience in community health and/or home health settings.
• Proven experience delivering direct nursing services within patient home environments and assisted living facilities, with deep familiarity and compliance regarding NJ rules and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and an active auto insurance policy meeting all required liability coverage limits.
• Strong communication skills in English, effective stress-management capabilities, and full physical capacity for direct care duties, including lifting, bending, and standing.
