Job summary

Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking an experienced staffing coordinator to ensure appropriate nursing unit coverage on a daily basis. You will forecast needs, align internal staff, and coordinate with external supplemental agencies using the scheduling system.

The role requires attention to census, acuity data, and payroll inputs, with a focus on patient care continuity. A High School diploma is required, with an Associate degree preferred; Shift: 10 hours.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates, maintains and updates daily staffing sheets and coordinates with bed control.
• Maintains and updates employee contact information and staff qualifications list.
• Maintains attendance records, on-call and float lists; processes leave requests; inputs payroll data.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
