Job summary

River Grove Health and Rehab seeks a Full-time Scheduler to coordinate staff schedules, manage call-offs, and fill shifts efficiently while complying with staffing requirements. You will work closely with nursing leadership to support daily operations and resident care.

Qualifications

• CNA license or certification is required.
• Experience in scheduling or healthcare is preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all nursing staff and prepare the weekly nursing schedule; notify staff of schedules and changes.
• Receive calls and direct them to address scheduling issues; notify Nursing Administration of shortages or conflicts.
• Obtain approval before overtime or using nursing registry personnel.
• Adjust schedules for illness, vacation, PTO, and other staffing needs.
• Collaborate daily with Nursing Administration to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Assist the nursing office with clinical management tasks as needed and support payroll processing.
