Job summary

Broward Health North in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a full-time perioperative RN to coordinate and support diverse surgical services, including neuro, orthopedics, ENT, and more. The role includes circulating or scrub duties and promoting clinical standards in line with AORN guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in Nursing with 3+ years RN perioperative experience and current FL RN license; CNOR and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• CNOR and BLS/ACLS credentials preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience in perioperative/neuro/general/surgical areas.
• Perioperative nursing knowledge and standards required.

• Coordinate perioperative services across multiple specialty areas.
• Act as circulating nurse or scrub person in procedures.
• Contribute to clinical standards and staff education in surgery/AORN guidelines.

Summary

Coordinates specialty services such as orthopedic ophthalmology neuro general GYN urology plastics ENT CV cardiac or minimally invasive surgery (including advanced da Vinci and Hybrid). Performs duties as a circulating nurse or scrub person. Assists in establishing and promoting clinical standards for the surgery service as well as staff education in surgery/AORN standards to support patient care objectives.

Education

• Associate's degree in a Nursing Program from an Accredited School of Nursing
