Job summary

Broward Health North in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time role in the surgical services team. The position coordinates specialty services across orthopedic, ophthalmology, neuro, and general surgery, acting as a circulating nurse or scrub person.

You will contribute to clinical standards and staff education in the OR to support patient care objectives. Required is an Associate's degree in Nursing, Florida RN licensure, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required
• Minimum of 3+ years of RN experience required
• State of FL Registered Nurse credential; BLS current

Responsibilities

• Circulating nurse or scrub nurse duties for surgical cases and coordination with the operating room team.
• Assist in establishing and promoting clinical standards for the surgery service and staff education in surgery/AORN standards.

Performs duties as a circulating nurse or scrub person. Assists in establishing and promoting clinical standards for the surgery service as well as staff education in surgery/AORN standards to support patient care objectives.

Education

• Associate's degree in a Nursing Program from an Accredited School of Nursing

Experience

• Minimum of 3+ years of RN experience required
