Oaklawn seeks a nurse to provide professional care under the direct supervision of an RN preceptor. You will participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, documenting progress and coordinating with the care team.

Under supervision, you will learn to collaborate with the nursing patient care team and other disciplines, adhering to Oaklawn procedures and infection prevention standards while advancing your professional development.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited program in nursing.
• Board eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification from ARC or AHA.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional nursing care under RN supervision.
• Participate in planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Document patient care and progress in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the nursing team and other disciplines.
• Adhere to infection prevention standards and safety policies.
• Educate patients and families and document education provided.
