Oaklawn is seeking a licensed practical nurse candidate for a nursing role under direct RN supervision. You will assist with all phases of the nursing process and document patient progress with the RN preceptor.

Collaboration with the care team and other disciplines will be essential to deliver high‑quality care. Responsibilities include conducting assessments with the RN, planning and implementing care, educating patients and families, and participating in unit‑based improvement activities

Qualifikationen

• Successful completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Board eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association certification.

Aufgaben

• Under direct RN supervision, provide professional nursing care for patient comfort and well‑being.
• Document patient care, condition, reactions, and response to treatment with RN preceptor oversight.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments with RN preceptor; develop/update plan of care accordingly.
• Provide and direct nursing care and evaluate outcomes with the RN preceptor.
• Educate patients and families and document accordingly with RN oversight.
• Participate in unit based performance improvement activities and staff meetings.
• Practice in accordance with Michigan nursing laws including delegation and supervision.
