Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Registered Nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Must graduate by December 2026.
• Must have current, valid RN license from Texas or a Compact RN license.
• Must have current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA/ARC/Military Training Network.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a patient advocate and provides patient care education to patients and families.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and guidelines impacting nursing practice.
• Performs patient assessments, recognizes changes in condition, and implements orders promptly.
• Manages care for adult ICU patients with neurological, pulmonary, cardiovascular, GI, GU disorders.
• Completes documentation accurately and timely in patient care records and hospital documents.
• Identifies process improvements to enhance patient and customer satisfaction.
