Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas by the residency start.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Residency is open to new graduate nurses or experienced RNs with less than one year experience.
• Additional Certification as required by Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Direct and supervise assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff to ensure understanding and safety.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of patient information.
