Job summary

CHI Health in Houston offers a Nurse Residency Program for new graduate RNs beginning February 15, 2027. The program supports transition from student to licensed RN with education, mentorship, and a 12-month structured pathway. Relocation assistance is available for eligible hires.

Participants gain hands-on practice, competency development, and opportunities to engage with education specialists and nursing leaders across St. Luke's Health facilities in the Texas market.

Qualifications

• Graduate nurses with GPA ≥3.0 and less than 12 months of professional nursing experience.
• BSN is required; ADN is acceptable with BSN preferred.
• NCLEX must be passed before start and TX RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent patient care by assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses, setting goals, planning and implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes.
• Provide support and supervision under preceptors during the Nurse Residency Program.
• Engage in education sessions and mentorship to develop leadership and critical thinking skills.
