Job summary

CommonSpirit Health’s Nurse Residency Program in the South Texas region welcomes new graduate nurses for a 12-month transition-to-practice. It provides a comprehensive clinical orientation, ongoing education, mentorship, and support from education specialists, nursing leaders, preceptors, and mentors to accelerate readiness for RN practice.

Starting February 15th, 2027, residents will develop critical thinking, evidence-based decision-making, and leadership skills while delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduate nurses with a 3.0 GPA and less than 12 months of professional nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellence in patient care and nursing diagnoses.
• Plan and implement interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Engage in mentorship and ongoing education during the Nurse Residency year.
