Job summary

St. Luke's Health announces a Nurse Residency Program for new graduate RNs in the Houston area with a February 15, 2027 start date. The program supports transition from student to licensed RN through education, preceptors, mentorship, and a 12-month transition-to-practice platform.

Residents deliver high-quality patient care under supervision, develop critical thinking, leadership, and evidence-based practice, and may receive relocation assistance for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher required for eligibility.
• NCLEX must be passed before February 15, 2027 start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Graduate Nurse Residents provide patient care with supervision, including assessment, nursing diagnoses, goal setting, planning and implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes.
• Residents participate in a competency-based curriculum with mentorship and structured education throughout the first year.
