Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is offering a 12-month Nurse Residency program starting February 2027 to support new graduate nurses with education, mentorship, and peer support. The program blends precepted orientation with blended learning experiences to develop clinical judgment and communication for high-quality care.

Opportunities exist in Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency Department, Women’s Services, Cardiovascular/Progressive Care, Surgical Services, Transplant, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license and BLS certification.
• New graduates are eligible to apply.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced certification helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Coordinate patient care with assigned staff and collaborate with the care team.
