Piedmont Columbus Midtown is offering a 12-month Nurse Residency program designed to transition graduates into professional nursing through education, mentorship and hands-on practice across Acute Care, Critical Care, ED, Women’s Health and more.

Starting October 2026, the program combines precepted orientation with blended learning, emphasizing clinical judgment, communication and peer support to improve quality and safety at the point of care.

Qualifications

• Leadership, communication, initiative and judgment required.
• Advanced practice certifications not required but beneficial.
• Eligible new graduates welcome to apply.
• Georgia RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients across the lifespan using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice.
