Piedmont Columbus Midtown is launching a Nurse Residency program in Georgia for new graduate nurses. The 12-month, transition-to-practice program combines precepted orientation with blended learning, mentorship, and peer support to prepare you for quality and safe care across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Graduate nursing program completion is required.
• Current Georgia RN license and BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
