Qualifications

• New graduate or eligible to graduate from an accredited Nursing Program with eligibility to take the NCLEX exam.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Must follow Oklahoma Board of Nursing guidelines on delegation and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist with patient safety protocols and comfort measures.
• Perform basic treatments including vital signs, glucose monitoring, and simple procedures.
• Assist in patient admissions and discharges; prep and document patient flow.
• Document basic diagnostics and monitoring (vital signs, ECG, telemetry) and assist with equipment.
• May retrieve and transport medications as needed.
• Note: No independent medication administration or patient assessments by Nurse Residents.
