Job summary

INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City is offering a Nurse Resident program where newly graduated nurses provide basic patient care under direct supervision. The role includes safety adherence, data collection, and participation in a variety of procedures within licensed boundaries.

Candidates must be NCLEX-eligible and hold BLS certification. Residents will work under RN guidance, may float to other units, and participate in on-call status as required.

Qualifications

• Must be a new graduate or eligible to graduate and sit NCLEX within the stated timeframe.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire from American Red Cross or AHA.
• Nursing duties may not include independent assessments or IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care tasks under RN supervision (hygiene, baths, bed making, perineal care).
• Support safety using ID bands, fall precautions, restraints and patient comfort measures.
• Assist with treatments and activities such as catheter care, enema, sitz baths, and ambulatory support.
• Assist in admission and discharge processes and room preparation.
• Document vital signs, blood glucose, EKG, telemetry, pulse oximetry, and Doppler data.
• Perform selected sterile procedures and assist with wound care and suctioning.
• May retrieve and transport medications.
