Job summary

Akron Children's seeks a Nurse Program Coordinator to manage day-to-day program operations, education initiatives, and team leadership. The role supports a multidisciplinary healthcare program on a hybrid site, with a full-time schedule equivalent to 80 hours bi-weekly.

The position requires a Bachelor's in a related field (RN license in Ohio), strong communication, and experience coordinating healthcare programs. Master’s degree preferred and Epic EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required (RN preferred in some tracks).
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• RN license in Ohio is required to hold current license.

Responsibilities

• Determines education needs of personnel and implements patient and family education with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provides leadership for the team in collaboration with the program medical director.
• Oversees office operations for the program and maintains records.
• Collects and analyzes data on the program; ensures compliance with regulations.
• Plans and schedules program events; monitors program budgets and performs reporting.
