Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to conduct VA Compensation & Pension examinations. You will review Veterans' medical history, perform comprehensive assessments, and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in compliance with VA guidelines.

The role offers competitive compensation with flexible scheduling options, and no on-call responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have strong clinical and documentation skills and work independently

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
• Collaborative agreement with a supervising physician where required by state law.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) General Medicine examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical history and documentation prior to each evaluation.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately.
