Job description

Nurse Practitioner - Surgical Service (Ortho)

Provider demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care pre-operative and postoperative care appropriate to patients of all ages within the orthopedic service line of the Surgical Services Department

Assess patient care needs to identify potential or existing problems and/or complications and to determine the needs of the In-patient, Outpatient and/ or Emergency Room Surgical patient

Assesses and reports changes in patient condition. Administers patient medications safely and efficiently

Documents care, response to care, and changes in patient condition

Current Massachusetts NP license, DEA, Surgical Practice Experience
