Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner program completed
• Registered as APRN in Maryland and in good standing
• DEA and CDS eligibility in state
• CPR certification on file
• BLS certification on file
• ACLS or equivalent certifications as required by department
• Minimum of one year RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day organizational and clinical leadership with attending physicians
• Perform comprehensive history and physical assessments of patients
• Order, obtain, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Establish medical diagnoses in collaboration with MDs
• Coordinate care to ensure patient safety and continuity of care
