Job summary

University of Maryland Faculty Physician’s Inc. is seeking a board-certified Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine physician to provide examination and treatment of patients.

The role includes ordering and interpreting tests, developing care plans, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. You will review patient histories, perform thorough physical assessments, and prescribe therapies while communicating clearly about medications and potential side effects.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Medicine in area of specialty.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience.
• CPR, BLS; ACLS as required by the department.
• Board certification/eligibility in area of specialty.
• Strong communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Review patient files including allergies and medications.
• Interview patients to obtain health history and current symptoms.
• Examine patients and order/analyze tests and imaging to assess condition.
• Prescribe and administer treatments and medications, including dosage and schedule.
• Communicate potential side effects to patients.
