This facility is located two and a half hours from Baltimore, MD.
The Nurse Practitioner Psych position will provide psychiatric services to the residents of The Thomas B. Finan Center. This position is responsible for establishing medical/psychiatric diagnoses, ordering and planning therapy, assessing and managing minor physical and psychological problems, ordering labs, and providing guidance and instruction in health maintenance and disease prevention in conjunction with physicians, pharmacists, and supporting nursing staff.
Education:� � Determined by the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses under the certification requirements for Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric.

Note: Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric classification or�Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric specialty codes in the Nursing field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
