Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a part-time PMHNP to provide direct psychiatric care onsite. The role involves working 16 hours per week (Mondays and Wednesdays, 8am–5pm) in Orange County with a focus on adults with serious mental illness, within Telecare’s established behavioral health team.

The ideal candidate holds a PMHNP, is ANCC certified, and licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of practice, with active DEA/Furnishing licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing with an advanced healthcare degree as required by state licensing
• Minimum of one year of full-time experience (or part-time equivalent) in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• ANCC Board Certified as PMHNP
• Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the practicing state
• Active DEA and Furnishing licenses

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric NP care and medical treatment to Telecare clients
• Work as a senior member of the clinical team to support treatment planning and patient outcomes

What You Will Do to Change Lives

As a senior member of the clinical team, the Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric nurse practitioner care and medical treatment to members served.

Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP - Part-time, 16 hours per week

Mondays and Wednesdays, 8am - 5pm onsite position

Compensation -

Expected Employee starting wage range - $81 - $100 / hourly

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
• Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
