Job summary

HealthNet seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver clinical care across Indiana health centers, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing treatment plans. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to improve patient outcomes and ensure quality care for diverse populations.

The role requires IN NP certification for prescriptive authority, RN licensure in IN, BLS, and commitment to ongoing education in alignment with Indiana standards.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in Indiana.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (IN) for prescriptive authority.
• DEA and CSR registrations for controlled substances.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as required.
• Must meet Indiana Administrative Code 848 IAC 4-4-4 requirements.
• Strong ability to assess learning needs and plan educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status via history, exams, preventive screenings and risk factor identification.
• Formulate differential diagnoses and address patient, family, and community needs.
• Develop treatment plans to maximize health outcomes for individuals and communities.
• Direct standards for nursing practice and act as clinical resource for staff and providers.
• Provide consultative services and educate health team members to improve patient outcomes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and align practices with national standards.
